region 6-02 Ootsa lake

Looking for some info on this region. Is logging still active? Are the Barges still running? I am probably looking to do a boat hunt in October. Any info would help.

theres not a ton of logging in that area any more,as for the barges unless you know someone it's very unlikely that you can get on one.The major contractor sold out and rumors is the barge will be pulled this year(rumor).Try contacting West Fraser Mills in Fraser Lake and they can probably shed some light on this for you.
