Chinook are off the wall in Renfrew, 10 to 30 lbs. Good fishery to start with "going to die keep it " going to live let it go" We have let most wilds go, but kept the ones that are going to die. It is insane to see this many Chinook and enough hatchery fish to keep for the table to feed the family. Is this all too do with the Alaska fishery cutting back ? It's MAY 12

You bet Gunner we had them last year as well call them purple backs and they are definatly yank fish, last year we were killing them at this time of year but they were up at nitnat this year there's a ton of bait around home base so thats where the fish are.Makes for a much better gas bill lol.

Fished all weekend and got lots of halli on the ebb tide then salmon on the flood very good fishing oh ya a endless amount of crab.

Tight Lines.

Great reports guys keep it up.

The weirdest thing I just got a few reports today that guys are hammering them off of the fingers here on this side of the rock.

I'm planning on heading out to the west coast on this long weekend coming up. Sounds like a multi species trip:grin:.

Quite a coincidence that the fishing is picking up with the 15% alaskan and 30% wcvi troll fishery cutback eh ?
Heading up to Masset in the next few weeks and will let you know if the same holds true for seven mile and a few of the other hot spots up there .
