My dad's on a trip in Oregon and I asked him to keep an eye open for some binos for me. He found a closeout (at Joes I think) and picked up a pair of bnib 10x42 Nikon Monarchs for $191 US. And to make it better the dollar was over 86 when it went on his CC!!!! Can't wait til he gets back.

They arrived today in perfect condition! Price on box is 319.95US. So happy am I!

Joes has gone BELLY UP...so for the next couple of weeks its all deals...and then no more...

There were more deals - if I had been there I would have bought more and resold it here... that was the last set of monarch's in the store.

Funny, I was just looking for a cheap glass and asked dad to have a look thru the glass in Nikon Action Extremes for me and compare to the monarchs he has. The Action Ex's were $59 (reg. $150) and these were $191 and when he compared them side by side he walked out with the Monarchs knowing that he had paid $450 for his. Said he couldn't stop himself.

That is a crazy deal, I paid $350 including tax for mine. Good on you for passing on the info.
