A bull elk was spotted by the old jackson farm in albion by somebody I know about 3 weeks ago he is a hunter and spotted it on 3 different occassions, I didn't say anything about it until I was reading this thread.
I know they have put elk in the back side of the pitt quite a while ago
As a crow flys the pitt is not that far away, I hope there more where this one come from and if one was hit I surely hope we have no more mishaps like this in the future. This elk was running around with a group of deer when he was spotted and was a mature bull, I only live a few kilo away I hope I can see some in my area one day or hear that bugle.

I saw it just off the Lougheed between Bruces market and the fair grounds on Nov 11 (no camera). It was 4pt on one side and the other was either broken or deformed. It is a shame if he is dead now. Makes you wonder if the other transplants are roaming as well. I had left a message for the c.o. about my sighting but nobody called me back. Either they had a few calls already or they were just not concerned about it.
