only about 30 days until ice out on our lakes and time to fish some big rainbows. took these two beauties in Beattie Lake

one weighed 10bs right on the nose and the other 12 lbs. biggest one ever was 17 lbs.

Caught those on a mepps spinner. Have used flies as well. Dark patterns work well
