There were two bears on that spot. This one was smaller. The video was shot from 200 meters away. It was yesterday evening. The bigger one was always hiding behind a big tree and a small crest.

I am gonna guess about 5.5 feet perhaps a tad more stretched going by the tree trunk diameter. one of the ways i have been judgeing is looking at a tree and divideing the animal by that item. some species of mature trees are pretty good as they are fairly standard.

How in the heck can you say no "crease in his forehead"? I couldn't make out the ears on that video let alone the crease in his forehead.

Too hard to tell how big he/she is with the video and nothing beside it to use as a guide. I would think if there was a bear somewhere in the bush behind it, that the one you're looking at is the dominant bear; therefore the bigger of the two. A smaller bear wouldn't look so at ease eating if it knew a bigger dominant bear was close by.

The other bear was bigger and about 150 meters away from this one. Don't know how they could get along like this.

I would say at least 5.5 feet. But other than that, I couldn't tell ya. Last week we had two bears together come through our camp, one was a solid 5.5-6.0'er and the other would go 6.75-7.25' give or take a few. Odd that they were hanging together, even went on thier way side by side for as long as we watched em, about 400 yrds and 1 hour.

Mating season.
This is the time to find two good ones without cubs together.

Ya it's local. So far three trips saw three bears on the last two. Not too bad. Seems only the big ones are out there, cuz I haven't seen any small dumb ones yet. :D

Its hard to tell how long this bear is from the clipping ,but my guess would be it is a boar and it looks like it just under 6 feet.

Looked too fat to be a dink bear and he looked pretty comfortable eating with another bear close by. Most likely a boar 5.5 to 6 ft is my guess.
