Saw these guys (I'm going to assume they're males) just south of Buckinghorse on the way back from Fort Nelson yesterday

...and these gals wandered up into my cul-de-sac last week

How often do you guys get wildlife in fsj or even in your own backyards?

Between my bro and my place, we've had in our yard, and on the lawn.
Rabbit, racoon, skunk, coyote, whitetail, mulie, elk, black bear - single and a small sow recently with two cubs the size of house cats.
Also turkeys (21 one time), ravens, grouse and a persistant owl (only heard, but never seen). God only knows what happens after dark.

Here in FSJ I've seen moose and deer in the church parking lot across the street, coyote, and fox.

But I've only lived here 2 years :p

I have black bears, moose, mule deer, white tail deer, lynx. pine marten, fisher, beaver, river otters, coyotes, the occasional cougar, rabbits, grouse, duck and geese, and even swans, that frequent my acreage at all times of the year, elk dont seem to come in real close, but sometimes on a quiet fall night I can hear them bugling a couple of kms away, nice place to live, like having my own personal wildlife refuge, I do hunt a lot but the critters are safe while hanging out on my land, having an acreage bounded by Provincial Park on one side , a lake and bounded by farm land, and grain fields on the other side makes for very interesting visitors indeed! had only one problem in the last 18 years with a big black bear boar getting TOO brave, although I tried everything possible to chase him OFF, he kept coming around creating havoc and mayhem!, other than that it is great fun, never knowing who will be in my front yard from hour to hour!
