I just bought a new crossbow that came with a red dot scope and i'm not familiar with them. It has 3 vertical dots very close to each other and a trajectory dial on the side of the bridge that tilts the scope downward. Which of the 3 dots do i use to sight in at 20 yards. Would it be the bottom one and the other two that are used for trajectory for when i'm up in my tree stand or are the other two for different ranges for when i'm on the ground? I guess if it didn't have a trajectory dial on the side i may be able to understand it better.

The top dot you should sight in a 20. Once that's done, the next dot down should be approximately 30, and the one below that approximately 40.

Depends on the speed of your arrow. I have mine sighted...
Top dot....30 yds (arrow shoots fairly flat until that distance).
This makes the other two on target..
Middle dot..42 yds
Bottom dot.50 yds.

Should work then as mines about the same.
