Are the bears all hibernating in and around harrison?

I really want to get my bear tag filled and i really need a new rug does anyone know where or if the bears are still out?

I have a feeling that if you see a bear you'd best shoot it!! They are seemingly hard to find this late in the year. Unless your like a co-worker of mine that almost ran one over late one night last week near Riverview. AHG I have two tags that look like they're goin uncut too!!

Bout a week ago I saw a big one at the west end of the Hope Slide. It was walking uphill on the north side of the highway,up the old road. Maybe it is still out since there is very little snow yet. Fred

I haven't seen a bear since the end of October around Prince George.

Come on over to the island. As I mentioned on a previous post, I saw one last week that had to go at least 400lbs.

I've been hunting the east side of harrison for the last 2 years and have never seen a bear in this area.Good luck.

I saw one last week, a poor young sow with a broken leg and a cub. All skin and bones, won't make it through the winter. :( Might be why she was still out lookin for grub. Haven't seen many lately for sure
