Hey everybody,
We're looking to get out for a bear hunt this weekend and I'm wondering what the snow levels are like in your area? I'm thinking of Merrit, Princeton, Squamish, Pemberton, or behind Harrison. TIA

I heard you can't get to far north of 20 mile bay on the Harrison west side, that and with all the local hills behind gates or slides, the OFF ROAD gong show was extreme.

How about merritt or princeton guys? Hows the snow level up there? Hills off the 5A? North of Princeton South of Merritt? I have heard conflicting info. Any green or is it still white? I bet it's melting now just wonder how fast? Thanks.

I do know that above Chilliwack, Bridal Falls area, at about 600m ASL there is still about a foot of snow on the FSR's.

On the hills around hear in Black Creek there is 50% less on them then from the past years.

Rain fall is 80% down for the spring as well ,the loggers have been shut down for fire as well till we get some rain ,I can see why yesterday out in the bush showed me that it is bone dry.

We even had a forest fire in the campbell river area yesterday.

I think we are in for lots of forest fires this summer http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/images/icons/icon9.gif.
