I have a browning camo wool shirt which almost functions as a jacket in the fall. Tried on the jacket too, but it seemed pretty heavy (and expensive!). Nice and quiet in the bush. Most hunting shops have some selection of the Browning and/or Columbia gellatin wool.

Omenica and Northen trout fitters has some nice stuff. I'm sure they would ship to you.

Don't expect to find anything decent sitting on a camo clothing rack this time of year in the Lower Mainland.

IMO, it's worth your time to figure out what size suits you best and THEN shop around.

I picked up the Columbia gallatian stuff a couple years ago in the states in the off season (right now) for a great deal...$33 USD for the jacket, 33 for the pants...ended up buying 2 complete outfits. This stuff sells for around $100 per piece in the lower mainland.

Good luck.

If your into camo thats going to last for more the 10 years try Searching , King of the Mountain,I belive it's in Montana. I bought mine from a lady in Minasota. The company they own sells King of the Mountain and is called The Wool king.com.Its technical wool and it sheds water like fur on a wolf or shingles on a roof. She gave me a $79.00 dollar hat and three pairs of socks with my order.I got the Bowman jacket and the Bunwarmer pants.Very nice and comfortable worth every penny. If your interested pm me and I will email there home # and email address.

King of the mountain is nice stuff but I know a guy who goes through a set every year... But its worth it to him and he can afford that.
I'd like to pick up a set of the bunwarmers for kitty season.

There's these guys too.

Both offer quality camo wool clothing.

You might find the Filson on a rack in a store in the lower Mainland but the Greywolf would be custom ordered and taylored to your size.

I would check out Deakins on Powell. At one of their many sales I got a Columbia wool shirt-jac at I think 60% off. my buddy picked up the wool bibs. If you catch a sale they are dirt cheap. I think the jacket was $50 and the bibs were $65.

If you liked the Cabela's line of wool product then have a look at the DAY ONE Camouflage wool line. You will like it.

Well, I'm on my 4th Indian Sweater in the last 30 years. Warm, drys overnight and you can't ask for a better camo when hunting in the snow and pines. You blend right in. Very quiet. Have paid as much as $17 and as low as $4. These are at thrift shops. The one I got for $10 at a garage sale has been handed down to a younger hunter. Had it for 15 years. It shrunk a bit or maybe my gut got a tinylittlebit big. The trick to washing one of these is as soon as it comes out of the washing machine you have to put it on for about 5 minutes. Small price to pay for something you believe in.

Swanndri from NZ makes very top quality wool products. I know a few guys and several guides who wear them.
