Okanagan Elk sheds..????

Hello everyone ! I was wondering if anyone has had any luck shed hunting or has stumbled across any sheds lately in the Okanagan?? They should have dropped by now I think. I was thinking of heading out this weekend, I'll post some pics if I find any....:cool:

i found a matchin 6 point pair in the OK during the thanksgiving weekend. but the gf dad put them together on a rotten stump and we were laughing about how someone was going to come around the corner and blast the stump so we left em there

I have looked for elk sheds only found a two point with skull attached. Talking to a guide up here and he told me the only shed he has never found is an elk. I don't know where they drop thme but I want some.

We've managed to find about a dozen including a few real nice ones. I'll try to post pics. Quite a few guys looking. Pretty hard to find if you're not sure of where they were at time of shedding. I think the big boys dropped around end of March and the smaller ones last couple of weeks. The snow is melting slow and it's hard getting to some spots.

Shed hunter has found a dandy in the last couple of days, he should post a pic, it has great mass.

A friend of mine in Penticton picked one up a few weeks back, it was a 6pt big and heavy. Maybe the match to shedhunters?

I know the spot where these guys got their shed antlers, it's not hard. Its out the vancouver highway from princeton about 5 kms. Ya gotta hop over a gate to get to it but thats where princetonites get their elk shed antlers... ya gotta get out ther early tho or bob A will snatch them all up!
