Went Bear hunting yesterday

To one of my favorite spots in region 3.

The grass is still brown. Need a week or two of heat to get the grass growing. A good warm rain and a week of +20 temp would perk things up.

No bears, no bear tracks, no bear crap.

Happy to report seeing mule deer does everywhere:smile: I stopped counting when the clicker hit 75.

me too . I went to r 3 no bear a lot's of deer road still have snow. Maybe another 2-3 week

I been out a bunch in region 2, seen a 6 inch track and heard of a guy seeing a bunch in a slash around hope where i have no clue cause i check the spots i know and only the one set in snow.

Seen fresh tracks in the snow at 1400 m elev this a.m., heading downhill of course. The green stuff starts waywayway lower.

really nottin in reg.3? thats crazy!! the same thing here in reg. 8-10 not very green and not even a sign... some places still have a good foot or more of snow :(

saw a nice 7 ft or bit better yesterday here on the charlottes. beutifull hair on the beast, was getting firewood . he was dumb as a stump 15 yards and watching me.
