Black Bears Kelowna

anybody seen any black bears in kelowna yet?

Seen a 5' boar east of vernon on the powerline. looked in good shape but holding out for a little bigger

Was up Beaver Lake and Oyama Lake area on Saturday, but still way too much snow. I didn't even see a track. Lots of whities, but no sign of the bears yet.:sad:

Heading to kamloops last saturday just past Vernon race track on the left side , saw a black and brown cub playing around.

Have only seen the one bear.
There's not much green around. No wonder the goats were protective of their little patch.

Skunk cabbage heads are showing in the Coldstream, won't be long now

Three on the west side of the lake last week. One in the bush, two others on the sunny side of the street.
