Update on Bears - Is it getting better?

Anyone got any weekend hunt updates on the bear situation?

Didn't see any sign whatsoever, hunted Boston Bar down to Harrison area - saw zero sign.

My dog had fun rolling in bears crap today, She found five piles of it, could of killed her.

went out saturday saw some tracks again, no bears. i think its going to be a great season for deer, there all over the place and in good shape after the winter we have had. good luck everybody

This was last fall in Coalmont across the Tulameen from our campsite. We sat and watched him stuff himself with berries on the river bank. Had a tag but couldn't take him from where we were.
During this trip hubby decided to go out after supper for a few grouse and only took the 410 and of course saw a big boar ( actually thought it was an angus cow at first glance it was that big) but had left the rifle at camp. LOL Maybe we'll see him again this year.

saw a black sow with two yearling brown cubs on monday, west of williams lake along the chilcotin river. she had a bald face??? lots of ticks around?

I was out this past weekend and saw five. A few too small and a few too fast.

Went out sunday and saw 2 near the highway but nothing in the hills .I think I will wait for may when it will be a little greener.

i went out to day in region 8-10 and didnt even see a track or anything :(
