they sell them in the stores , but the most powerful one is a liquid from the vet that makes their ass explode. I used the over the counter pill dewormer on a dog before and it seemed to bung him up.

fenbendazole liquid, u can find it at the pharmasave in cloverdale,or your vet. 2.5 ml. per 10 lbs. for three consecutive days, for roundworms, hookworms, whipworms,&tapeworms.

hope that helps.

Drontal plus or Lopatol will get everything - it's via prescription so you'll have to get it at the clinic and they will be sure to give you the right amount.

If you know someone that has livestock, you could deworm him with Strongid-T (1 cc per 20lbs = 3 cc's for your 60 pound dog) but this product only gets round and pin worms. Probably best to just get a couple of the above pills for your dog to make sure you get everything.

ps. I am not a vet nor do I play one on TV -all advice given is what "I" would do for "my" dog....

I use Drontol on my Lab - try to give it in the morning with food as last time I gave it with dinner and it made him restless and uncomfortable all night
