Part of my job takes me to the new Simon Fraser Bridge job site here in PG from time to time and today we had a couple of visitors...

and yes that smaller one on the right is a yearling bull just sprouting his spike fork antlers for a lucky bow hunter this fall...

he's on the left in this photo...

I have no idea, there has been well over 100 people working on that project, probably more than 200 if you count the planning and design stages. I only deal the the superintendent and project managers and have probably only met 1/4 of the crew members. What company do they work for? I do know most of the sub-contractors by name but there are a lot of them as well.

The moose were wondering when the bridge would be done too! (especially with the workers wandering around taking their picture--LOL)

Hopefully they stay in the ditch and donot succumb to the traffic! Lots of wildlife on those ridges and riperian areas! Moosin

Not a construction worker, I oversee the construction from an environmental perspective...documenting wildlife encounters is actually part of the job :p.

We have had a lot of deer and moose on the site, particularly at night. Did have a few black bear visit last spring but none so far this year.
