Just came back from a trip with my boys and "better off fishing" , no yogis but we saw a pretty healthy looking big bodied doe and watched a bobcat from about 100 yrds. tried to get decent pics but the deer is invisible in the shadows of the pic and the bobcat was too far away to be seen in the pics. all in all a great day afield.

The snow is getting soft, so soft that you do a face-plant when you're chasing a raven:

So, to make up for that embarrassing moment, you show off and catch a trout with your paw:

The wife and I went out and saw deer just about around every corner. None were sprouting antlers however a few were showing double bald spots. Did see a nice big white wolf.

Went turkey scouting. Sunk my subaru wagon up to the axles in soft snow. 1.5 hours to get her out. No one turkey seen or heard.

Scoured, I mean scoured the south Okanagan looking for Turkey, no sign, no gobbles no nothing. Just lots and lots of native horses towards Baldy, gonna be a environmental disaster there if nothing is done!
