Went through from Westbank to Barriere today. Drove by numerous lakes and not very encouraging. Drove by Courtney, Corbett and looked completely solid. Drove by Walloper and others nearby and they were the same. May 1st might find us packing the ice auger this year. :icon_frow

How would they know until it thaws?????????????

Not even close to thawing yet.

Don't yell fire until you see the flames.

To those of you that know the Barriere area, I have a friend and former workmate that has fairly recently moved there. I have an invite to go up for some predator/varmint shooting and was wondering if it's a good area for that kind of thing? From what he's told me, ranchers and farmers in the area indicate there are a fair number of Coyotes. Anyone know??

Lots of yotes up here around the farmers fields. It is calving season now!!!!
