THis video was taken this past saturday night in langley, bears have been sighted in the area for the past 5 years or so, so that in itself was not so amazing,

Around the 6 minute mark of the video, 2 coyotes arrive, and the games begin!

Wow that is super cool, would love to know what part of Langley this was taken in, I have acreage around 192 and 80th, have seen deer and a million (less two) coyotes but never seen any sign of bears, that is so neat.

Seen a bear last fall in Derby reach, and there is always sign (mostly scatt) in the Houston Trail part of park. Lots of yotes too.

I'm just down the road from ya (208 & 82nd). We have only ever seen one deer here and that was back in the late 80's. TONS of yote's though.... No Bears.

However, we DO have funny lookin' critters that ride bikes around, after the sun goes down.

Hey your not the dude with the go-cart are ya? I just about ran through that guys front yard one early morning to try to run over a coyote, lol. Common sense prevailed. I am thinking it's time for a beer with the Langley contingent!

Sorry for the hijack.

Wild west more likley.I`m surprised the gang bangers haven`t gunned them down in a turf war.

2 years ago I watched 2 coyotes harass a sow and a cub eventually with the sow distracted one of the coyotes grabbed the cub and killed it. The 2 coyotes continue to harass the sow finally driving her off then they went back and fed on the cub.

Funniest part of the whole commentary. LOL. Great video. There was a bear up in Willoughby (just off 80th and 202A) a few years ago. We also used to see deer routinely on 72nd, just by where the Mac's is off 200th. That was before they cut down all the trees to put in townhouses. The week after all the trees were gone a 2 point black tail was corked by a van at the top of the hill on 200th.

We're down in S Langley (200 + 24 area) and we get a ton of deer down here. Didn't know there was that much bear, but thats good to know (I personally like having them around). The only thing with that video was I wished he got a good piece of one of those mangy bastages to teach them a lesson, I really dislike 'yotes. We have enough dogs on the property that they don't come around here anyways. LR

Get ready for more coyotes, there is a den nearby, that is why they were harassing the bear.
