my wife drew a spring grizz tag for 7-43 where out cabin is located. was out there this week end with a couple of friends we were glassing a bunch elk on hill side when all of a sudden they took off running. out of the trees came a huge black grizz. the one we have been after for a couple of years. hopefully wanda will get a chance at him

don't know how big that bear was but if wanda gets a bear this spring that will be good enough for us.

You are lucky to have a wife that likes to hunt. Did you have to coheres her into to it, or was she a willing participant. Mine likes the range, but I will have to work on the hunting part.

wanda went on a lot of hunting trips before she actually hunted. when our first grand children were born and living in vancouver she decided they needed a freezer full of meat so she bought our son a deep freeze came home took her core course bought a gun and went hunting. filled the freezer her first year.

Heard of a nice grizz spotted on Friday off the Morice road south of Houston.
deffinetly no grizzlys out here yet. still 3 feet of snow in places

I have no trouble believing it, the guy isn't a BS'er. We've seen em out up in the Kispiox at this time of year, still 2-3 ft of snow.Should be no surprise, they can wake up in any month of the winter, may or may not go back to sleep.
