Bear Hunt:Day Two

Weather was a little nicer today.Later start than yesterday.Run up was pretty smooth.Rain and snow mix again but little to no wind.A hour up the lake I stopped and decided to warm up glass some slashes on the west side of the lake 15 minutes in i spotted a small bear feeding high in the slash.Not worth the hike through the thick stuff.Ran all the way to the head of the lake only to see the ass end of another bear run into the trees.Got off the boat and notice quit a few tracks on the beach...Theyre around.Oh well as many said im a epic failure:-PLOL But I'll be out again Saturday and Sunday.Get out there you LML guys.

I think I'm going out this weekend to give it a try. I don't expect any success but at least I'll be out there with my son.

Still over 24" of ice on most of our lakes around here, and snow was past my nuts (in the open) on Wed when I was sledding at work.

Won't see any bears around here for at least a month (mid May is when it starts to get good).
