first year bear hunting mmm accualy 2nd but last year was more like a long nature hike for at least 6 weekends... never seen a thing

So any one have info on when the blacks start commin outta there dens?
theres still alot of snow in a bunch a places and peps say that the middle of may is better...onece the snow melts.... but bears gatta eat right???

Dependant on where you plan on going it could be in a few weeks or late May.
Some of the low down local areas will start showing bears, in behind Mission and over to Chealis may start sooner than later. Places up the Coq are going to be a write off till at least mid May.

Heard on the news that there have already been a few Bear sightings in Poco and Coquitlam.

if you want to maximize your bear hunting time, head out around the 15th of May.

From what I hear they are going to be out April 9th at 3ish .

The boars are out now if you can find them ,but there few and far from ,look for them around 3pm when the warmth is at its peak of the day.

Well the misses went to go to work this morning the hospital here in kamloops and we only live like 10 minute walk away so she walks down the trail to the hospital so she left and 3 minutes later she storms back in the door THERES A BEAR ON THE TRAIL so i put my boots on and walk down but the bugger was already gone when i got there and i had to walk her to work. So i guess there starting to move now!!!:mrgreen:

Was out shed hunting today in the Okanagan and saw a fresh set of bear tracks in the snow,
