What Color Is Your Fletching??

I've got to order some new arrows and I am wondering what colors you guys like for helping you find your arrows. I am currently using one neon green for the cock fletch and two whites for the hens they aren't too bad, the white seems to stand out really well until it snowed.:-D

Depends on the target, but usually Orange, Yellow, White.

I like 1 yellow 2 white on my hunting arrows. Mind you I don't bowhunt in the snow very often!

I find I can really see the yellow/white very well in flight and that helps me focus on exactly where the arrow hits the animal. These colours also stand out better than darker colours making them easier to find when bloody.

I like to use 2 blue and one white. Being partially colour blind the blue really stands out in the bush for me. Makes it easier to find...

My eyes pick up yellow or green the best
However, I hunted for years with my longbow and recurve and used majenta { bright pinkish/ purple} and I found that to be one of the best to track the arrow in low light

i personally like the 2 white and one either green or orange.
i have a couple of hunting partners that swear by the one white and two blue because they say there isnt very many things in a bush that are blue so they stand out real good after being shot.

For 3-D I use all black with neon green nock.

Spring and Early season - 1 white, 2 pink
Late season - 1 blue, 2 pink

3D:
Depends how competitive you want to be. black, black, black

I've never been to a 3D shoot but am thinking of attending one soon, what is the reason for the 3 blacks?

I shoot green and black...Never thought about trying to find them..lol

I like white and flo orange or flo green. Like to watch the arrow flight and point of impact. Good colors to see blood on, and to be found later.

hunting arrows are all 3 white blazers. white nocks

3-d are usually all black, with black nocks

White feathers, yellow index feather and blaze orange nock works well for me. I use that set up since day one and never change it. One word about white feathers/vanes spooking game. It's a myth! In 20 years of bowhunting I had never game spook because of the color of the fletching.

hunting arrows are usually all 3 green or all 3 oranges 2" blazer vanes
3D I use all 3 white micro Blazers or 1.5" flex fletch and white G-nocks
