I would suggest Sitka gear as well. This is probably the best for both hunts. In the past all of my sheep hunting stuff has been Arcteryx, OR, North Face Etc.

 Hey Leadpill, I like the Cabelas' 3D Konifer stuff for jacket and pants...it makes you practically invisible in pine woods. I like Merino wool as a base layer, and then a warm shirt and sweater below the jacket, which you can remove if it gets warm...

Browning's XPO line is great for waterproof breathable jackets/pants.

Are you looking for rain gear or camo?

I usually encounter Gortex as rain gear; in camo or every other color of the rainbow. The knock on Gortex as a wear everywhere all the time material is that it is noisy.

Hunting camo, to me, comes in everything from so called "quiet" fabrics to those canvas work pants by carhart - but it's not rain gear.

Read a good article but can't remember where. The point of the article was not to get caught up in the sales pitch as big game don't see the same as we do, something about more or less rods or cones in the eye. Anyways stay away from blue and yellow and if hunting in winter don't wear dark clothing as you will stand out. Other than that stay dry and warm in layer.

I hardly ever wear camo... especially on a sheep hunt, earthy tones (green/brown/grey) and that's it. I spent the money on a good spotting scope instead and have never regretted it.
