Whitetail Merritt-Kelowna 3-12-1-13 Area

I recently moved to BC, originally from Northern Alberta (don't hold that against me). I have been travelling to Alberta to hunt Whitetail.

I want to try BC Hunting (Alberta charged me $200 to hunt).

Two questions,

How is the Hunting between Merritt and Kelowna Hwy 5, area 3-12 & 3-13?

Should I hunt Whitetail or Mulie?

I have included my Alberta Whitetail pic to compare sizes to BC Whitetail.

It is hard to start again from scratch and will appreciate any help.

Great looking Alberta whity ... you're going to feel like your scratching on the whity's here when comparing. I haven't hunted that area but believe your more incline to be looking for mulies. There are some whity's there though. Head more to the OK or farther east for better whitetail hunting.

Thats a nice Whitetail and a rare one for around Merritt. IF you were really lucky you might find a muley that Big.As for whitetail region 4 or peace country.In that case you might want just drive a little farther where the monsters are(alberta)

well i live in merritt and i have hunted both areas and there is lots of whities and mulies in both areas and the hunting is good na thtere is some big bucks too but not as much as alberta but u can find them there...
