Mule Deer 08

Me and my buddy got this deer while grouse hunting region 3, 4 point only pretty early in the season. My friend was the one who shot it, his first buck ever it was an unreal feeling and i wasnt even the one who killed it.
We woke up around 6 am drove around and hunted grouse all day we started to head back to camp around 3 and decided to try one more FSR near our camp before we called it a day, we barely drove 1 kilometre and there he was just to the right of us. what a day.

Its a very good tasting deer for sure im running low though only a couple more steaks left in the freezer. need more

Heres first turkey we got the next month in region 8, hunting with SLYFOX and my other buddy who got the deer Sly shot this turkey it was crazy to see so many turkeys but they took off so he only had time to grab one shell off me and track em down

Thats one good way to end a days grouse hunt ,that is one fine mule deer buck your friend got.

I'm the same way as you when one of my buddies get a game animal I get real happy and for them almost as if I had shot the animal..

Yah it was such an adrenaline rush can't imagine what it feels like when it's your own kill I'm counting down the days till deer hunting season is here again. Can't hardly wait.
