I've got a Suzuki 92' 300 kingquad and a 2008 750 Kingquad. Both are super reliable great bikes. The 750 has scary power though, have to be careful.

in all we have 4 suzuki quads, 1 94' 300 kq,1 1998 (i think) quadrunner, and 2 vinson 500's 06 and 07. The 300 KQ is unstoppable, it will get through rocks and logs that i will get stuck on with my 06 vinson with 26" itp xtr's because of the super low with diff-lock.
all of the quads are 5-speeds

I have a 1998 Tracker (Suzuki Sidekick) that I drive like a quad. Worked great, right up till the main crank bolt came loose and let the timing slip and the valves drop. :(

Nearly everyone in my group has a Suzuki Eiger 400 or Kingquad 700 (one holdout Yamaha fella). Really fell in love with the low range, and wouldn't do without one now. There are better machines for sure, but it depends on what your intentions for it are, your price point, etc etc. No doubt my machine has always got things done.

One word of caution however...keep your carburator clean (unless you have a newer fuel injected puppy), and never use old gas from your buddy's crappy old gas can.

I also have the older 300 and the newer 700 king quads, both are very well built and have been trouble free.

 I've got a 2008 King Quad 450, and it's got good power, it's good on gas, and at 2000 km it's never had any issues. I'll probably trade it in on a KQ 500 next spring, when they're blowing them out...the power steering is a nice feature on long or rough rides... They're solid machines!

Be careful on some of the older suzuki's, in the 2002-2004 range (I think), there were weld issues on frames. There had been a recall issued at one point I believe. I do know about 3 machines for sure that had multiple weld breaks with very minimal use. (One of them rattled the rear axle completely free of the frame at the hinge point driving down a dirt road).

Just something to keep in mind.

I have a 2005 Suzuki Vinson. Solid machine no problems at all. If I was going to buy a new one it would be another Suzuki.

My dad rides Yamaha, my mom rides Honda, and my brother in law rides a Kawasaki... They are all solid machines...

:D If you notice the makes in McRae's post, they're all Japanese...buy Suzuki, Honda, Kawi, or Yamaha if you want a solid, reliable machine...

Have two older Polaris machines and two 700 Kingquads. Absolutely love them. Zero problems so far, excellent power, excellent fuel mileage and a great ride. Anyone that owns quads needs to check out this web site - www.nyrocatv.com It is by far the best site on the web for quadders....especially Suzuki owners. Any problem or questios can be answered on this site. The Tech Tips section is awesome. Great tips on how to quickly override the diff lock limiter for full power in diff lock, install grease zerks, override the reverse limiter, etc, etc. Check it out !

 Two of the best, proven quads right now are the Grizzly 550 EPS, and Suzuki King Quad 500. They both have plenty of power for practically anyone, they have better range on a tank than the big bores(so you don't have to carry a ton of extra gas if you're out all day), they're proven reliable units, and you'll save plenty of money over the Grizz 700 and the King Quad 750... The power steering is a big asset in rough country or long rides...and can save you from an accident if you hit a large rock unexpectedly. You feel much better after riding all day if you have eps...
