Kettle River outta Christina Lake?

Just wondering how the fishing is on the kettle mid april. Gonna be in the area and want to know if it would be worth dipping my fly rod and seeing what I can get???:?:

Based on my past observations, whether or not there are any fish in the lake is not going to make much difference to your success rate.

Whitefish from what I have heard. If you have a 0-3wt you can have a good time.

It's been a number of years since I'd fished it but I recall the fishing can be good in a number of areas and the setting of course is beautiful. I would say it is worth a try if you are there. Life's too short to not be fishing.....

Favorite river - should still be relatively clean mid-April. Water's started coming up on hot days.
