Wanted: Collapsible Rod for Marlin/Shark

Howdy;
I am looking to buy a colapsible Rod suitable for Marlin / Shark. To fit in my Suitcase no pice can be longer then 31 inches. Like to use my trusty Penn Senator on the Rod. Call me at 250 480 1202 if you have something and ask for Karl.

There's a loophole in westjet baggage rules that may apply to you. You can take golfclubs and someother oversized items on the plane, only stipulation is that you must stay in the 50lb wieght. A buddy of mine uses a golf club hard case as part of his luggage when we go duckin, he can put his gun inside and then load it with other stuff instead of having the gun count as a piece.

I flew to Costa Rica with a fishing rod in a tube (longer than the max dimension) with no issues. The tube came off the plane in the oversized section of bagage in a different area than my other bagage - that was the only issue. No extra fees. ..
