I was holidaying in oregon last week and ran across an interesting brochure telling about the raffle hunts oregon offers. I checked with the Oregon fish& game dept and non residents can apply as well. they have hunts similiar to our premeires tags that will allow liberal hunting opportunites statewide for deer, elk, pronghorn antelope and sheep (any where in the state.) these hunts are really great and the ticket cost in reasonable. 13 tickets for around $100. log on to the oregon fish and game department website and click on hunting and go to the raffle hunts (not auction hunts) if you are interested. i bought some sheep and antelope tickets as the odds aren't that bad. you do not need a guide or a resident to accompany you. this can be a do it yourself hunt if you want
