It can happen sometimes on the real high roads that you could road hunt a goat. I worked with a guy that was shall we say "portly" he had that exact opportunity but by the time he heaved his carcass out of the truck and then cleared his gun that he jammed the goat took off. A friend of mine told me of a lady he knew that shot a goat at the bottom of the mountain in a rock pit and was able to back up to it and load it in her pickup. :)

I saw 5 goats along the Similiakien River on the way to Vancouver last week that you could of shot from the Road but you would have had to wade the river to get them. That is if they fell all the way to the bottom and didn't get hung up on the cliff.

Road hunting for goats??? You might be able to shoot a nanny or a kid on a salt lick possibly...

Yeh... I have pictures of goats right beside the highway in Jasper National Park. They were totally unconcerned when I stopped to take the pics. Seems like they'd be easy pickings.........

Go west of Muncho Lake.. hike in 10 miles you will find goats there...lots grizz too so bring a partner.

I'm sure there's a lot of 'old goats' out roadhunting (me included). Just be careful cause we shoot back........
