That was poor angle to shoot at the moose , I wouldn't have taken that shot. Moose are much more dangerous than elk.

That bow hunter must have been some upset when he was facing the wrong way when this bull came in.

And to top things off he did not get this monster bull ,to bad for him ,man O man that would have been some fine bull to get with a bow.

I've actually been in that exact spot, I had an elk come to all the way up to me and sniff my shoulder, it was a number of years ago, when there was a 3 point season, this was a 3 point bull however it was 6 point season at the time, so I have the memory of an awesome experience and in reality... better that he wasn't legal at the time because I would have taken him long before he ever got right up to me if your ever in the ABC restaraunt, ask Mike the Owner of this experience, he was with me and can tell you the story too!!! I'll never forget it!!!

yeah but you've got too remember that the camera had a different angle than the shooter, so the shooter might have had a good shot even though the camera didn't.
