Received this one on the email today from a co-worker. Says it was taken here in Fort St. John.

I talked to the game farm owner in Rolla about moose and he told me that moose are the most affectionate animals around. He apparantly had a cow moose that was given to him by a CO because it had been hurt and so it was to recooperate on the game farm. It used to kiss him like that all the time and always wanted to be pet on the face like a horse. Even once it was okay and he set her free, she would often come back just to get pet, even once she had a calf, she would bring it to him to show it off. Pretty funny I thought, but it makes this picture make sense.

This pic appeared on the cover of the free FSJ paper yesterday, guess it was recent and local after all.
