Thanks for posting my pic PHIL Ilike how he turned out caribou chilcotin taxidermy did the work for me this style of mount takes up a lot less space and still looks good on the wall its also a lot easier on the wallet

Nice mount ! For people wanting european mounts ,Does the skull need to be boiled or anything before you take it to the taxidermist ?Or does he take care of it all ?

I gave him the skinned out skull and rack I killed the elk on the 3rd day of a two week hunt I wrapped the skull best i could with plastic and tape but with hot temps and ten days sitting around it was pretty ripe and full of maggots when I got it to the taxidermy he was fine with it and he said he takes them all even the ones with maggots pretty gross job but thats why we pay them well worth the money in my opinion:smile:

Maggots are good! They eat away at rotten flesh and that's the goal - getting rid of meat.

If wanting one done, just drop it off. It matters not what state of decomp its in.
