Looking for elk hunting info

Its been 10yrs since I have gone on an elk hunt and I am thinking that 10yrs is too long.I have heard that the area around canal flats is doing o.k., but I have never hunted there before and don't know the area,any info would be greatly appreciated,thanks

Head into cross river camp site from canal flats ,its about 50k back.

Hunt on the west side of the Kootenay river side for elk and Whitetail deer.

Go to the main FSR north of Elkford, just find an open area and set up camp.....there's a few elk around there and only a few:shock: other hunters to deal with.
