Off to QC for bears

Well it seems like a good year to hunt blacks on Queen Charlottes. We are heading up late may and taking a couple of small boats to hunt the shoreline. Any info would be great. Time to make sure bear hunting stays on QC.

I spent a week up there last fall and only saw 3 bear shits and a cub around logging roads did see more sign up high never saw a grown up bear the whole time though.

We are heading last week of May first week of June...when are you going? We hope to get some fishing in too.

Mid april is the best if you are looking for a nice hide. All the may and june bears are usually rubbed real bad. Also by mid may the outfitter has usually shot all the bigger ones off. Shot one here a few falls ago squared 8ft 4 incces . 21 plus on the scull. Pm me I live here i can point you in the right direction.

bears will usually be black in colour this time of year in the charlottes...... aim for the lungs .....unless a good richochet off the rocks to the head is not present.....a peta supporter tied to a stump will also lure them in....ps it is illegal to bait bears in bc
