wildlife auction...When?

Anybody know the date for the gov't wildlife auction in PG coming up?

Do you mean trapline auction? I was told there is one in May but when I called MOE, they did not know that

All the animals that are killed on the roads and stuff in BC are sold there I believe.

I had no idea they had an auction like this. What do they do with all the animals before the auctions? Do the co`s skin the animals? Do they tan the hides or just throw em all in a big freezer? Is there meat or just skins. Interesting.

They ran an auction last year, depending on the amount of animals, etc they have on hand dictates when they do these. They probably won't run one for awhile again.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but would anyone know any additional information on when and/or where this auction takes place. Also if anyone has any ideas as who to call on the matter. I'll do all the digging just looking for a direction thanks ;)
