Walter has very large hands. Partly explains the large rifle too.

Are you sure you shot it?.......at 93lbs maybe it just got tired of flying and fell out of the sky

duckhunt
03-07-2009, 10:27 AM
For that you need 3.5 inch steel 000 buckshot;)

I don't think that goose was flying when it was shot, because it's too big, obviously it's the queen goose and all the worker geese were carrying it as they were moving to a different hive. Since you shot it though, you have destroyed the whole hive, you ba$tard!

Mathematically unable to fly at that weight:

(z2-z3)^2 = 4(z3-z1)(z1-z2) sin^2 alpha/2

Back in the mid 80"s on the annual hunting trip back to Albrta we shot down a 40 pound goose. It was stuffed and mounted (yes it was also stuffed and eaten) the wing spand was an incredable 39 inches. It's hard to picture a 93 pound goose.

wow that sounds like a lot of goose fat,, don't go droping that one into hot oil to cook it unless you call the fire dept, first to have them stand by with a hasmat team for all the goose greese, would be one big greese fire,, ,,, nice bird, hope it's not to fat to eat,, think you might have to call a lot of friends over when you cook it, because we all know how many days later were eating turkey if we get a 25lbs bird, good luck, let us know how many days later your having goose soup, goose lunches, goose snacks, goose etc,,,, have fun,,
