A slow morning in the field.
One pair came into the blocks and paid the price.
Slow days with my grandson make for his interesting insights into life
in genral. He is 8 but can not wait to be 10, so he can shoot.
He sees no reason someone as clever as he is about all aspects of
hunting should have to wait 2 more years??? lol.
He wonders why I have not done something to make his
Spring break coincde with the late goose season?
Cheers,
Field Marshal

Good shooting Field Marshall! Sounds like James and you had a great morning together.

There didn't seem to be many birds working the valley this morning but I did hear a volley of 4 or 5 rounds... not sure where it was coming from but at least two gunners.

Regarding the shots you heard Marc.
The Dinsdale boys checked in with their report for me.
They got 4 birds this A.M.
This is surprising as the field has been used by pain in the ass
dog walkers all week putting the run on the birds.
Cheers, Field Marshal.

That is awsome to get your grandson out.
I can't wait for my little guy to grow up a bit.
He is not quite 2 yet. A ways off.
