.410 slug for ___________ hunting?

I was given some hand-me-down slugs(2 1/2", 1/5 oz) for the .410, and have no idea of what useful application they would have. BIG Grouse? Grizz protection?:wink:

Rabbits maybe... check the regs to be sure.
You can also start your ammo colection with those as well.

You would be better off throwing the slug at the bear to distract him and then either run like a mother****** before he turned you into a longhairpileofgrizzlyshit or grab the .410 by the barrel and club the shite out of the bear. I agree, one more for the ol' ammo collection is the best choice. :smile:

Yep read the first thread. Nobody fessed up to actually shooting something with a .410 slug. So I should have asked 'what game have you shot with the .410 slug".
