I'll be heading up to Sheridan Lake (5-1) in mid March for a week to do some ice fishing. Also when I am up there I wouldn't mind trying for some wolves or coyotes. Any body have some recent info about the area, recent sitings, what kind of calls are working etc would be greatly appreciated. This is also my first time predator hunting so any tips are welcome.

Thanks

Wolf don't know much but coyote, howling (all types, invitation howl, challenge, etc etc) works best with a rabbit distress call. sit across wind, and best to be against a fence or a bush something that breaks you natural outline. After you take your shot try a yote distress call, as sometimes others will come back or come out.

theres some really good toys out there for calling. Heres a couple links to some good ones
