Just in....( from a member of the MOE )....this is a recent photo from a resident of Hernando Island. The property owner will NOT allow children onto the property due to " the deer are all gone and there is nothing but hungry wolves everywhere".....
Also to note from the source , " the Sunshine coast has LOTS of cougers and wolves that are under utilized".....
For those of you that dont understand that quote , it means ' there is shit loads of wolves and cats..please come get some'.......

Now imagine how the wolves and deer on Hernando would be doing ( health wise) if the wolf pop. was regulated !! ??;-) ( I think the wolves are patiently waiting for the PETA - BOAT to come and feed them...hmm..where are they??:lol:

Id like to see the pick.

Id also go over there and manage some wolves but i think there may be to much granola there. If the deer population goes down and the wolves start going after kids or pets i think things will change. Lets hope it does not come to this.

From what I have heard , it wouldnt be hard to find a scene like this on most the Sunshine coast there days.:roll:.......and its scenes like this that I'm trying to make NOT happen where I live.:biggrin:

There's actually 6...( have the larger version on my email)..the wolf closest to the camera on the left is actually a grey and a black layin side by side....maybe the ' Raincoast organization' would say that the wolves are fish eaters and are waiting for next falls food to swim in??:p:lol:

I'm not to sure about the sunshine coast talk though . I have a cabin in Sechelt and I have only ever seen wolves back a ways in the bush . Bears and cougars hell ya but wolves arnt walking on our front lawn yet .

We have DOZENS of wolves in Pemberton...but I havent seen one from my porch yet either!!:razz:

funny... (not really but reminds me of a short story)... I was shooting at a 50M target at a friends property north west of vernon last summer and the neighbour called the police due to the noise (maybe fired 5 shot's) when the cruiser came up the road and we went thru the whole "its a flintlock i dont have to register it thus no reg card" and "its a rural acerage under spalumcheen municipal law i am not prohibited from shooting on private property"... i reluctantly agreed to pack up if the officer would call back the person who complained and explain no wrong was done on our part... a month later a coyote pack moved into the area and the neighbour watched her cat being used as a chew toy. when asked what they could do about it i said "buy a gun" with a smile :)
