Spring Grizz Snow Conditions

Hi All!
I thought I would start this thread as a means to update everyone on snow conditions for the upcoming spring bear hunt. I will hopefully get drawn for 7-38. How do the snow conditions compare to last year's? Are we expecting an earlier or later bear hunt? Does anyone have any updates on snow conditions in other MUs?

Correct me if im wrong but I thought bears leave thier dens was based more on the amount of day light not the amount of snow???

they do, but you need to be able to get to them

Not sure what prombts them to leave their dens.I am also hoping to get drawn in 4-02.The snow pack here is minimal so far compared to last year,we had a hard time getting anywhere in late May last year.We do need some snow though to help out with the summer drought.

YES- that's the biggest issue, not finding the bears but getting around. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out!
