Me and a couple friends are going camping in that area in 2 months and I have never been there.. Is there any decent areas to do some target shooting .22's maybe through some clays for the 12g.. there is most likely somewere to shoot the .22's but i'm wondering if it's worth bringin the trap gear?? I don't believe we are staying at chataway lake but in the area..

stop in at the powder keg in town and get a day pass to the gun range and go shoot at the range its on the road on the way up to chataway

the older fellow that owns the lake resort has a impressive mulie collection in his shop if you stop by he will tell you all about hunting around there

Where abouts are you camping? looking for bear? If your just camping in the bush your fine to be shooting anyway. Lots of logging in the last 2 yrs up there. I live in Lower Nicola and now the area pretty well, any questions let me know. Cheers Rob
