We have a fur buyer here in Vernon. Have the hides been skinned for fur or for taxidermy? If it has been skinned for fur you are better off shipping it to either NAFA or Fur Harvesters. The one thing that I would catuion is to look at the belly of your hides. If they are pink in through the groin area that is Sarcoptic Mange coming on and a REALLY good hide MIGHT fetch you $3.00

Average for this part of the world at auction maybe $30 bucks..... with the occasional dog worth more usually depending on fur handling and quality.

I was under the impression that you had to have a trapper's license to sell furs to an auction, buyer, etc. Wrong?????

IIRC, just need to pay royalty fee.

You only have to pay the royality if you sell it privately. The royalities are automatically taken off when you ship to auction and are deducted from the selling price of the fur. Hunter number and Licence number will suffice
