On Thanksgiving weekend I went hunting and got my very first Mule Deer. He wasnt the biggest (2 point) He sure does taste good.
I would post pics but im not sure how to. Any help would be nice

Nice one! I got my first mulie this year too, he was a 3pt, not a monster either, but really good eating!!!

x2- I've taken some pointers from your hanging set-up. Looks sturdy and the cheese cloth wrap does the trick.

watch those cows.....they can devour a deer within minutes...cheese cloth protects the carcass really well.

It wasnt the cows or the bugs it was the birds. I think they were whiskey jacks?
