I'm off to Ixtapa with my girls, and would like to know if anyone out there has been here and could recommend a deep sea charter boat?

I went deep sea fishing out of Ixtapa a few years ago, it was fabulous. I don't remember the name of the outfit, sorry.

Best bet is to head down to the main dock in the afternoon and watch who comes in with flags up (fish). Talk to some of the people getting off the boats and ask them how the crew was.
My only complaint was they they all want to set the hook and hand you the rod -- they are worried you'll miss. They can be reasoned with though.

Take some light tackle (10-15lb) and some buzz bombs for casting. You won't regret it.
