BC Outdoors Hunting and Shooting magazine, Fall 2008. How do you make heads or tails of these charts? First off, under the region column there are region/MUs such as 300, 400, 500, 700, 800. Where are such MUs? Also the success rates are off the wall in some cases. For example, Mtn Goat MU 437 shows 40 hunters, 6 harvested, success rate 4800. MU 436 shows 15 hunters, 0 harvested, success rate 13.333. These are just a few examples, there are lots more. What gives?

Some hunters are messy writers.

There are always MU #s that are 'unreadable' so you're better off lumping the data into the correct region than across the province. Hence 300, 400, 500 etc

999 is for stuff that the region was unreadable on the card so it gets lumped into the province.

As far as the success rates go, it looks like Gatehouse was doing the data entry this year.

I don't get BC Outdoors.
