one of the guys from work has just left for the weekend for him and his sons Leh elk hunt...I think he's going to Dawson Creek..Tim and I head up there in 2 weeks for our turn at antlerless elk LEH...

This time I WILL take photos..

Well my work buddy got home skunked..saw some elk but where he did the ranchers did NOT want anyone hunting on their property..it was very warm and strong winds and the elk just pulled a Houdini and were gonzo..

:frown: hope our trip has a different ending...:redface:

my good friend has a butcher shop, cuts all domestic meat and wild game also, his numbers on LEH elk this winter about 25% of last couple winters, it has been VERY slow for elk coming in so far last couple of months, the GOS was very good and late hunt for elk from Alberta has been good this fall and winter

oh! there are lots of elk :smile:

they just haven't been kill't yet! :wink:

there are rumors of "unscrupulous" persons willing to mark X on map for

persons lost when hunting elk, while packing generous portions of delicious

smoked salmon in their lunch totes! :twisted:
